Thom Malone

Thom Malone is a regional economist at the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. Prior to this appointment, he was a visiting assistant professor at Georgia Tech and the Pollman Postdoctoral Fellow in Real Estate and Urban Economics at Harvard University. He earned bachelor’s degrees in statistics, economics, and history from the University of Auckland, an M.S. in economics from Tufts University, and a Ph.D. in Urban Planning and Development at the University of Southern California.
